I remember that he was really good in his first seasons. He isn’t that good anymoore, but still a good player. I think that he just needs a little bit moore confirdence 🙂

@ProductionsWazza I agree with Wazza for a couple of reasons; first, like wazza noted, Carrick is certainly not the worst player to ever put on a United kit –no reason to look so far back as kleberson or Miller…simply have a look at Bebe. Second, Carrick is, and has been, vital to United’s midfield since his signing due to his positional ability in the holding role of midfield. United havent had that sort of midfielder that sits on directs traffic since Keano.

Most of this is from the 2008 season which he played his best but i think hes a lot better than man utd fans give him credit for apparently we are trying to sign Ganso I watched him in the copa and he really didn’t look that good actually a bit over rated. the only thing Carrick lacks is that pass thats cuts the deffence and creates a goal opportunity like inesta and xavi do so well schweinsteiger looks the best option to help out with carrick, anderson, fletch in the middle him or our youth

But Carrick is brilliant in a higher up the field position in a more attacking role, remember the 06/07 and 07/08 seasons, he was one of the best midfielders in the world.

Carrick played in total 43 games in the previous season so there’s no doubt he was important. We are trying to sign Sneijder because a certain Paul Scholes decided to retire. How can you even compare Sneijder and Carrick? Sneijder is a offensive playmaker who plays in the hole, while Carrick is a defensive holding midfielder. Completely different players.

Have you ever heard about Liam Miller, Kleberson or maybe Djemba-Djemba? Do you even watch the games? Carrick was one of the main reasons United reached the CL final this year with his displays against Chelsea and Schalke. Just because he doesn’t score many goals or provide a lot of assists doesn’t mean he is shit. How come United have won the league 4 out of 5 times after Carrick was signed? And don’t tell me that is coincidence.
worst player ever to pull on a man united shirt. yes you can somehow make a 6 minute compilation of him but you would need a 6 hour video to show the bad things he does (pretty much everything). what a waste of 18million.No offense but there are a lot more better players you could have made a compilation of.
