RASHFORD, OTHERS CRITICISED AGAINST NORWICH CITY

England international Marcus Rashford and the other Manchester United attackers were heavily criticised by Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports while he was giving the analysis of their Premier League clash with hosts Norwich City. Redknapp was not impressed with the lacklustredisplayshown by the Manchester United attacking quartet of Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes.

During his half-time analysis, Redknapp detailed how Marcus Rashfordand the other Manchester United attackers produced a poor display against the Canaries who are the bottom team on the Premier League log.

Manchester United had Spanish shot stopper David De Gea to thank for the points against Norwich City as he made several saves to keep his team in the game before star player Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winning goal from the penalty spot fifteen (15) minutes from time. On their part, Norwich City would have boosted their hopes of surviving relegation from the Premier League this season with an home win over the Red Devils if their attackers were more clinical in front of goal.

Norwich City could have taken a point from the Manchester United game if not for the foul committed by right-back Max Aarons on Ronaldo. He was penalised for the foul in the box and thereafter punished by Ronaldo who overcame the penalty antics from Norwich City shot stopper Tim Krul to fire Manchester United into a fortunate lead with 15 minutes left to play.

Ronaldo has been the major source of goals at Manchester United this season and he was once again the man responsible for the winning goal at the expense of the Canaries. His strike against Norwich City took his tally to seven goals in the Premier League this season. His last two goals have been from the penalty spot and the latest one took his tally to 13 goals in all competitions.
